Digital Manga Adds Game-Based Starry Sky Manga

Digital Manga revealed in its newsletter last week that it licensed Hal Minagawa’s manga adaptation of honeybee’s popular planetarium drama CD and game series Starry Sky.

Digital Manga will ship the first volume of the series on April 20, 2012.The company will release the series as a part of its Juné line.

The Starry Sky otome game (games for female players) series with bishōnen inspired a 26-episode anime series in 2010-2011 on Animate.tv.

The game publisher JAST USA reported in July that it is “looking into the process of licensing” the Starry Sky project.

The Starry Sky game and drama CD project revolve around 13 handsome young men whose characters represent the attributes of the Zodiac signs (including the 13th sign Ophiuchus).

Digital Manga also confirmed in the newsletter it licensed Mitohi Matsumoto’s My Cute Crossdresser manga for its Project-H imprint and Hinako Takanaga’s The Tyrant Falls in Love volume 7.
